Notes on accommodation
Our villa is beautiful - contemporary design throughout - and located in a very private area.

Spacious Master bedroom with king-size bed opening onto private terrace. Dressing area for him and her leading to ensuite with shower and Jacuzzi. The upper floor (very private) provides for a separate sun terrace across the landing.
Bedroom 2 ground floor – ensuite, very large room overlooking side garden.
Bedroom 3 ground floor - twin beds - could be joined up into a double if required. Shared bathroom with Bed 4.
Bedroom 4 ground floor - twin beds, patio doors opening straight onto the pool area.
All bedrooms have build-in wardrobes, air-con, central heating, electric shutters and hairdryers etc.

Perfect place for summer holiday, but also ideal for Easter, Christmas and New Year as you will be warmed up by the magic of the 360 degree fireplace, real cosines and of course a truly family feel of the place.

Accessibility
The house is easily accessible for physically impaired. Three our of the four bedrooms are on the ground floor. Same with the lounges, kitchen, toilets etc. All of downstairs is equipped in large patio door giving a great access to the pool and breakfast area. Overall a very flat positioning. The only difficulty would be getting into the garage as it’s downhill. The entrance to the house is quite convenient (see photos).

Outside
Private heated pool with outside sitting area, loungers. Depth from 1.25m to 2.3m, dimensions 5mx8m (16 x 26ft). Further along a breakfast table with eight chairs and barbeque. The living room patio open directly onto this area, so very convenient access from the kitchen and living room. Circa 1000 sq meter plot with gardens and fruit trees all around. Floor area 350 sq meters

Coast/Beach
You can walk to the beach from our villa through a lovely pine forest. Takes about 15-20min. On the beach you’ll find a variety of restaurants and cuisine, as well as cocktail bars. Once you get to the beach you can take a walk along the coat to Vale do Lobo and appreciate the outstanding cliffs, which are so very typical for this part of the World.

Golf
Varandas do Lago is within 1.5km from the glorious golf courses of Vale do Lobo and Quinta do Lago – just too many to mention here.
Special interest holidays
In the area (within 2km) you will find horse riding stables, golf courses, tennis courses, cycling tours and the World famous Ria Formosa. If you’re keen to discover some of the local history you should visit Tavira, Monchique Mountains, Silves etc. Amazing snorkeling and diving areas/caves within 40mins drive – Bengal, Marinha beaches. Fishing trips 15mins - Vilamoura. Beautiful vineyards (i.e. Sir Cliff Richard’s) all within driving distance. If you’re looking for a peaceful holiday just head for the beach and relax. If you’re looking for active holiday you will certainly not get bored!

Travel
Our villa is positioned on a quiet estate about 20 mins from Faro airport. You can book a taxi in advance at pretty reasonable prices, however we would recommend a hire car for your own convenience.

Distances
Nearest shops are 1.5km away at Quinta do Lago and Vale do Lobo. Larger supermarkets you’ll find in Almancil – 7km away. Shopping Centers/Cinemas in Faro and Guia - 20mins/25mins drive. Also nearby water parks, Zoo Marine, Go-carting and other activities available.

We make sure that our guests are comfortable and get the best value for money, so the holiday becomes a unique experience for all.

We are both private bankers working for 2 of the biggest global banks. Our home is in the Channel Islands though we spend a few weeks of the year in Portugal due to it's beautiful climate - sunny almost all year around. We love to travel and so we are open to any offers. We have no children and we don't smoke. Very happy to look after pets while on exchange.
